Coding Cauldron

Objective

Participants will engage in a series of programming challenges designed to test their logical reasoning, debugging skills, and ability to write optimized code. The competition will focus on the C programming language.

Rules and Regulations

  1. The contest is open to anyone with a knack for programming.
  2. It is a team-based contest with each team consisting of a maximum of two members from the same institution.
  3. The contest will consist of multiple rounds, and teams must progress through each round to stay in the competition.
  4. The problem statements will be available in English.
  5. Any unauthorized behavior, such as looking at other teams’ solutions or using disallowed external resources like AI, will result in automatic disqualification.
  6. Judges' decisions are final and binding.
  7. The compiler provided will be GCC, with Visual Studio as the IDE.

Team Specifications

  1. A team can consist of up to 2 participants.
  2. Both members must be from the same college.

Event Structure

The event consists of three rounds:

  1. Round 1 – Elimination Round: Basic programming questions to filter participants.
  2. Round 2 – Logic Code Round: A debugging and logical problem-solving challenge.
  3. Round 3 – Problem Solving Round: Participants must write optimized and complexity-efficient solutions for given problems.

Tie-breaker Criteria

  1. Number of correct answers.
  2. Total time taken to solve problems in ascending order.

Prizes & Certification

Certificates for all participants. Prizes for winners and runners-up.
